A Photograph: A story about my dog

This lovely photograph was taken the 24th of July at 00:50am by me. I know all of this because my cellphone saved it with all this information, not because I remember it hahaha. 

In this picture we can see a cute dog called Drogo (not named after drugs) watching a video about funny things dogs do, that means, dogs being dogs. I love dogs. The word "dogs" already lost its meaning. 

I like this photo because I like to think that Drogo really was watching this and understanding everything, like "oh, look what my silly friends do" or "Omg I want to be there with them"

Also, when I see this photo I remember we were alone because my mom and her boyfriend were to a friend house. This happens quite often, being the two alone together, I mean, and I really love it. We play, eat, sleep, and as you can see in the picture, watch things. Always together.

Finally, I love this photo because it reminds me of how much I love him. 

My favourite movie scene!!

I study cinema so I have seen a lot of movies; some of them really good and others... not so much. Because of that, I have too many movies in my head, but there are a couple that come to mind when a person ask you for a specific topic, kind of like a filter. 

When I hear "My favourite movie scene" I dont think about an epic scene with a lot of things happening. All the contrary, I think of this:

This scene takes away all the hard work this characters go through to be together. At the end, none of this matters because they didn’t do it for them, but to prove wrong to others; their opponents, like her mother or his father. This scene destroys their little bubble.

I like movies that talk about the little things, specific situations that represent a larger problematic, and because of that I like this movie so much. I recommended it one hundred percent!

MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY!!11

Truth to be told, I own a lot of technology, and even when I try to use it less frequently, I come back to it. I think this is because almost all of my interests can be discussed online, like books, movies and series.  I love to be connected and updated with all the information regarding my interests, and although it may seem silly being "updated" with something that doesn’t change once you see it, the conversation around never stops. 

Another important point is the connection with relatives, friends and classmates. With my father living in another city, friends always on the run and a thousand group activities, the constant communication is key. 

For this matter, I prefer my cellphone. It is powerful, small and almost weightless, which make it perfect to have at all time. 

I got it three years ago. Today, it is still up and running, even when I use it literally everyday, so my life without it would be very dull, I must say.

Why did I choose this career/study programme?

Let's begin with the question. Honestly, I don´t know why I am here, but in this post I'm going to try to find the answer.

When I was a kid I wanted to be a vet (I know, how original!), but then I realise  was too soft for all the possible blood, pain and sadness involving the profession, so I opted for less practical careers. I began to be really interested in history, literature and politics, and because of that, I wanted to study history or political science, but different factors made me back up. I think it all comes down to lack of confidence and being afraid.

When the admission finally arrived, I chose architecture because I thought it was really interesting, and it was, but it wasn´t for me, so I dropped out in the first semester. 

And now, here I am. I study cinema and it’s really fun, but I still have to find the direction that I want to take once when I’m finish with my studies.

A photo of my mom just because.

I was born in Melipilla 21 years ago, but I never lived there, only my first couple of hours. This happened because all of my relatives are from there, so my mom and dad were there to visit and boom, I was born. 

They named me Nicole, although my dad wanted to name me Fernanda to keep a family tradition, so they came to an agreement and my entire name is Nicole Fernanda Plaza Guerrero.

My first school was named "Colegio Crisol", my highschool was "Liceo Carmela Carvajal de Prat" and now... here I am.

I love watching series, eating junk food, read a good book and listen to podcasts about made up stories and things I love, like series and books.
